The event seeks to consolidate scientific knowledge and methodological approaches related to the definition and selection of the most appropriate plane coordinate reference system to serve national requirements. Particular attention will be devoted to geodetic applications, large-scale mapping, and civil engineering projects, where consistent, high-accuracy geospatial data is indispensable. Presentations and discussions will address both theoretical foundations and practical challenges, with an emphasis on ensuring the long-term sustainability and usability of the adopted system. The expertise from an international perspective will facilitate a rigorous exchange between global best practices and national or regional priorities. By convening distinguished experts, practitioners, and institutional stakeholders, the event aims to foster collaboration and contribute to the formulation of scientifically robust and practically applicable solutions for the establishment of a state plane coordinate reference system.
