📅 15 December 2023 – WP1: History and Current Conditions
Work Package 1 (WP1) will begin with an exploration of the history and current conditions of coordinate reference systems in North Macedonia. The research will provide a comprehensive overview of past practices, existing systems, and their limitations.
The expected findings will highlight the necessity for modernization, as current systems often lack uniformity and do not fully meet today’s geospatial demands. This background analysis will serve as the baseline for subsequent work packages.
